Our biggest milestone of the year was the release of a major backend platform upgrade. This update introduced a new, more flexible foundation for our website platform, allowing us to build and release enhancements more efficiently while improving overall performance, stability, and security.

For most clients, this upgrade required no action and resulted in little to no visible change, and that was by design. Your website remains fast, effective, and visually polished. The work happened largely behind the scenes so that your day-to-day experience remained smooth and familiar.

That said, a few intentional cleanups were part of the upgrade. We retired outdated layout tools and settings that were no longer in use, simplified the website admin area, and removed legacy features like homepage pods and the built-in social media posting tool. These changes help reduce complexity and keep the platform easier to manage in the long term.

Performance, Reliability, and Scalability

Throughout 2025, we made significant investments in the infrastructure that supports your website. These changes enhance reliability, reduce the risk of downtime, and enable the platform to scale more effectively as your practice grows.

In 2025, we also introduced Page Skins, a front-end design enhancement that gives practices more flexibility while maintaining long-term consistency across their website.

Page skins allow the design and layout of service pages to be updated all at once, without rebuilding pages or touching content. With just a few clicks, practices can refresh the look and feel of their service pages while keeping everything aligned with their existing branding.

This update was designed to solve a common challenge we see over time. As homepages are refreshed or custom designs evolve, service pages can start to feel disconnected. Page skins help bring those pages back into alignment, creating a more cohesive and intentional patient experience from the homepage through every service page.

Each page skin includes both light and dark modes that automatically pull their colors from your existing theme. Rather than relying on preset palettes, this approach ensures service pages always feel like a natural extension of your website, regardless of the style you choose. We also introduced multiple skin styles, including Classic and Bold, so practices can select a look that fits their personality while still meeting modern design standards. Importantly, page skins were built to be future-ready, enabling visual updates without redesign costs, downtime, or added complexity.

Design, Themes, and Visual Consistency

Design and front-end consistency were another major focus. We completed our transition to a new and improved design tool, modernized older code, and released multiple new and refreshed stock themes throughout the year.
