During setup, we aggregate all of your practice information, existing listings and login information, and review the SEO Questionnaire you filled out during your website build out. From there, we start to claim, edit, and create what we’ve deemed as the most important listings.
We check each carefully, verifying that every listing that we’re working on has a consistent name, addresses, phone number, and website (also referred to as NAP or NAPW). During this time, we will need some participation from your practice, including submitting relevant information, documentation, and helping us with some phone verifications.
To summarize, each setup includes the following:
- Keyword research and goal review
- Onsite optimization, including custom meta titles and descriptions
- Creation and implementation of one central SEO specific Gmail account, Google Analytics, Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools)
- Setup on our reporting systems, including keyword tracking and easy to use analytics that each client has access to
- Creation of a central citation sheet, including all relevant business information, links, and login information to all relevant profiles, directory listings, and data aggregators for each practice
- Claiming or creating and optimizing relevant listings that are necessary for a solid foundation
- Phone verifications as necessary
Like we mentioned above, we treat each of our campaigns individually. What we do each month depends on where we are with your campaign, what changes have happened recently, and what your main goals are.
In a typical month, we’ll start with our regular review of Analytics, Search Console, rankings, and your marketing email account. We’re looking for problems, irregularities, patterns, trends, and starting to build up our action items for the month.
Once we’ve finished our administrative tasks, we start to work on our action items list. Sometimes, all of our campaigns receive specific tasks such as verifying a setting that helps your website or updating a feature on our sites. But most months, the marketer on your account will be deciding their list based on long-term and short-term goals. They could order content from our copy team to assist in a goal, or they might spend time suppressing a new “rogue” listing that came up in the last month.
At the end of each month, you get a report detailing what we did, and you can review it on your monthly call with your account manager.
