SEO Specialist

We are currently seeking an SEO Specialist to maintain a client load comprised of dental practices. The right person is organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in white hat SEO tactics.

We’ve helped almost 700 dental practices market themselves online, with services ranging from simple websites to full-service, ongoing marketing. Great Dental Websites has tripled its staff and doubled revenue in the last year, and we don’t see any signs of slowing down. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add new staff to our team to ensure that all clients are receiving the same level of attention as when we had our very first few.

The right candidate would be joining a team of intelligent, hard-working professionals. The group operates as a team, so you must be willing and able to lend a hand when needed, offer ideas to improve the functionality and processes, and take feedback and suggestions from other members. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

This is an entry level, full time, salaried position. The SEO Specialist would report to the SEO Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to successfully manage ongoing SEO campaigns
  • Previous agency or internship experience highly desired
  • Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Experience with dental or medical fields a major plus

SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Strong knowledge of Google Applications (Gmail, Drive, Analytics, Webmaster tools, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media outlets
  • Willingness to learn new skills and implement them quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)

DAILY DUTIES:

  • Staying up to date with trends and changes in SEO
  • Quickly learn new skills and apply them to work on campaigns
  • Planning strategic campaigns for clients
  • Website research, including backlinks analysis, competitive analysis, etc
  • Giving recommendations for clients to improve performance
  • Identify improvements for process and software

GROWTH:

Great Dental Websites values ongoing education and professional development. We encourage all staff, regardless of their position, to take on a side project in an area that interests them. Using company time, current employees have created new services and products, spent time educating themselves on the industry (through internet resources/courses), and cross training into other departments.

In the past, we have also sent employees to conferences and lectures in NYC, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Breckenridge. We also have ongoing monthly lunch and learns, keeping everyone involved in industry trends and updates.

Additional note: Due to the nature of the industry, employees may come into contact with ePHI (electronic personal health information) from time to time. In order to remain HIPAA-compliant, we have a set standard operating procedure that the company must abide by. Paid Search Manager

The Position

The PPC Manager will develop & implement PPC strategies and campaigns for dental clients. Aside from being organized and detail oriented, the PPC Manager must show strong leadership skills, handle conflict well, and enjoy teaching other teammates the ins and outs of best practices for PPC. In addition, the PPC Manager must be willing to, and able to, help train cross-departmental employees, offer suggestions for both our software as well as client campaigns, and advise PPC policy and procedures. The right candidate also has SEO experience to ensure properly optimized websites are a component of the campaign.

The right candidate would be joining a team of intelligent, hard working professionals. The group operates as a team, so you must be willing and able to lend a hand when needed, offer ideas to improve the functionality and processes, and take feedback and suggestions from other members.

This is a full time, salaried position. The PPC Manager would report to the Director of Marketing Services.

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of marketing or agency experience with at least 2 in PPC (Google Ads and Bing Ads)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Experience with dental or medical fields a major plus
  • Experience working in 3rd party Bid Management Software a plus
  • Management or supervisory experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Planning strategic campaigns for clients
  • Earning and maintaining required certifications (ie Google Analytics, AdWords, search)
  • Diagnosing and redirecting problem or underperforming campaigns
  • Supervising junior employees on shared campaigns
  • Goal setting and goal tracking
  • Researching and sharing trends and changes in the industry
  • Tracking and logging bugs in software as needed
  • Making recommended software changes and automations to improve department flow
  • Leading departmental or organizational trainings as necessary
  • Assisting Director of Marketing Services in new policy and procedure rollouts and changes
  • Researching and giving quotes for new campaigns

Skills include:

Marketing Services Intern

Great Dental Websites is an established Denver digital marketing agency. We build websites and provide online marketing for hundreds of dentists around the U.S. as well as internationally. As a Digital Marketing intern, you will be taught the basics of working in the online/digital marketing world, specifically in regards to seeing a website from newly launched into a well performing site. You will work under the guidance of two of our SEO specialists.

Our intern will have the opportunity to grow the following skills:

  • Onsite and offsite optimization (including learning redirects, writing meta data, citations/directories, image optimization)
  • Paid search (Facebook, Google, Bing)
  • Analyze and strategize campaigns with the help of our specialists
  • Basic working knowledge of sales, design, development, project management, and account management

A typical day might include:

  • Researching and responding to queries from our account management team
  • Checking status of campaign progression
  • Pulling weekly budgets and ad spend
  • Writing and scheduling social media posts
  • Assisting in the setup of new client campaigns
  • Competitive research for clients
  • Working on research projects and case studies
  • Assisting in SEO client hours

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

  • Organized, analytical, and driven
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Eager to work in a an independent and group setting
  • Extremely strong writing skills

The intern will have a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:30am-5pm. Ideal candidate can work between 10-15 hours/week throughout the semester.
