Senior Developer
John Eubanks
John grew up in a small farming community down in West Texas (Cotton Center). His first career choice was cardiology, so he thought. After pondering the idea, he decided that Biology and Chemistry were not in his future. However, after reading a fantastic article about Ethernet in the LAN Times (years ago), he found his true calling.
John has been in the IT field for almost 25 years, doing everything from Network Administration to Systems Administration to Programming and Database Development. He has worked with organizations of all shapes and sizes, including the federal government, Fortune 500 companies, and small/medium-sized companies. He still thinks Sun Solaris was the best Operating System ever created and that everyone should have to learn PERL.
John enjoys road trips and visiting off-the-beaten-path places, discovering and learning new things. He enjoys volunteering for the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in his spare time. Currently, he calls Oklahoma home.
